I paint abstractly because I am lured by the risk of plunging into the unknown to express the beauty and complexity of life. The medium of acrylics offers me the freedom to create depth and saturated color with multiple layers of paint. Having grown up in a rural wooded area, as a young child I was enchanted by natural designs and color. With the interplay of pattern and line, my hope is that my work will inspire you to stop and look at the beauty around us.
