I traveled by bicycle, paintbox firmly secured above the rear tire. I painted everywhere, at bus stops, between bowls and cookie tins in a friend’s kitchen, on the boardwalk beside the ferris wheel. Summer, spring, winter, fall …. I painted my life and the people around me.
