FollowFrame / Desktop application

Personal media on your desktop.

A Windows media player with local-folder playback and an experimental Instagram connector.

  • Floating players

Compact media windows remain alongside the user’s work.

  • Local playback

Folder playback works independently of any external account.

  • Separate connector

The experimental Instagram connection is kept separate from local playback.

Media alongside your work

Opening personal media usually means giving another application space on the desktop. FollowFrame takes a smaller form: compact, floating windows that remain alongside the user’s work.

Desktop behaviour comes first

We developed the Windows application, player controls and display settings. Local-folder playback works independently of any external account. The interface gives users control over playback and how each window behaves on the desktop.

A separate experimental connection

Local folders provide playback independently of the Instagram connection. The connector is experimental and depends on the external service; it should not be treated as guaranteed access to Instagram media.

Keeping the two sources separate means the local player remains useful when the connector is unavailable. The settings view below is from the actual application.
