The brief
A WooCommerce catalogue needed product pages with different layouts and content, while keeping common sections consistent. Repeated text and manually entered prices made everyday updates harder to manage.
Shared where it helps. Specific where it matters.
We developed a reusable template system in the existing WordPress theme. Shared fields control common content; product-specific overrides handle the differences. Editors can adjust text and appearance without rebuilding each page.
Native, bounded controls cover typography, colour, spacing and separate desktop and mobile settings. Leaving an override blank preserves its existing default.
Product data stays connected
Prices come from WooCommerce product data rather than text copied into a page. Product variations keep their native selectors and purchasing behaviour. The template layer changes the presentation while preserving the existing catalogue and product settings.
Delivered on the existing store
The work included template migration, centralized editing controls, responsive layouts, and verification against rendered product pages. Updates were checked in the editor and on the live storefront, including mobile views and settings saves.
